The NAVI team suffered a defeat at the hands of FaZe in the lower bracket semifinal of Group A at IEM Sydney 2023 for CS2. The score in the match ended 1-2 (7:13 on Overpass, 13:4 on Mirage, and 7:13 on Inferno).
Following this loss, 'Born to Win' concluded their run in the tournament, securing the 9-12th place and earning $5,000. It's worth noting that NAVI had to play with a substitute. The team's coach, Andrey "B1ad3" Gorodensky, temporarily replaced the absent sniper, Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostylev.
The next challenge for FaZe will be a match against GamerLegion to secure a spot in the championship playoffs. This match is scheduled for October 18.
