HLTV Introduced their new rating system 2.1
HLTV Introduced a new player rating system called rating 2.1.
I suggest we briefly go over the changes:
Averages adjusted using 1 year of Counter-Strike 2 data
Average rating has returned to 1.00 per event
All five sub-ratings now have equal weight after survival, impact, and KAST became too important in CS2 for a 2.0 rating
Surviving lost rounds (save) gives less reward
Assists give more reward than in 2.0 since assists do 25 damage instead of 40 damage
As well as adjusted averages, the formula itself has been changed to reduce the reward players earn from surviving lost rounds. You no longer earn a KAST point from saving in lost rounds where you did not get a kill, assist, or traded death, and survival rating treats survivals in lost rounds as less impactful than in won rounds.

The new rating calculation system will make it possible to calculate the individual rating of each player more correctly.
