Gaimin Gladiators concluded their journey in the DreamLeague Season 21 playoffs with their worst performance of the current year in 2023
On September 22nd, the Gaimin Gladiators team suffered a defeat with a score of 1:2 against Entity in the lower bracket of DreamLeague Season 21 for Dota 2. This result turned out to be the worst for GG throughout the year 2023. Previously, the team had secured victories in all three major tournaments and emerged as the champions of the BetBoom DACHA competition. The only exception was the Riyadh Masters 2023, where the team secured a fourth-place finish.
Gaimin Gladiators had been the defending champions of this tournament, having won in DL Season 19 and DL Season 20. In the 21st season, the team finished 7th-8th and received a prize of $47,000.
DreamLeague Season 21 is being held online from September 18th to 24th and is gathering the world's best teams according to the ESL rankings, competing for a million-dollar prize pool. This tournament serves as the final major event before The International 2023. Three representatives from Eastern Europe are participating in the championship: BetBoom Team, 9Pandas, and Team Spirit.
