From November 26 to December 1, 2024, Copenhagen, Denmark, hosted the inaugural Dota 2 tournament organized by Blast – Blast Slam I . The event featured 10 top-tier teams competing in a Round-Robin group stage followed by Single-Elimination playoffs for a prize pool of $1 million. The grand final of this historic tournament has recently concluded, and we’re here to share the winner and highlight all the key and most exciting moments of Blast Slam I.

Who Won First Dota 2 Blast Slam

As mentioned earlier, the tournament brought together some of the best teams of the year, making it quite difficult to predict the winner. On December 1, 2024, the grand final of Blast Slam I took place, featuring a showdown between BetBoom Team and Tundra Esports. Both teams had topped their respective groups, advancing directly to the semifinals, where BetBoom Team defeated PARIVISION with a score of 2-0, while Tundra Esports overcame Xtreme Gaming, also with a 2-0 scoreline. The grand final was held in a Bo5 format, allowing both teams to showcase their skills and strategies in an extended series.

The first map saw BetBoom Team claim victory in a hard-fought battle. However, the second map went to Tundra Esports, who demonstrated excellent strategies and their readiness to win. The third map was intense, lasting a total of 56 minutes, and ended with BetBoom Team emerging victorious, putting them one step away from the title.

Before the start of the fourth map, fans held their breath in anticipation, knowing that its conclusion would crown the first-ever Dota 2 Blast Slam I champion. In the end, BetBoom Team secured the victory, finishing the series with a 3-1 score. Judging by their exceptional performance throughout the tournament, they truly deserved this historic win.
