PUBG Esports provides 2025 calendar update

PUBG Esports published a major update for the upcoming 2025 game season.

They announcing six global tournaments comprising the PUGB Global Series, the PUBG Nations Cup, and the PUBG Global Championship.

The PNC has been confirmed for 2025 following its success in 2024, which reached a peak viewership of over 500,000. Additionally, game publisher KRAFTON has announced an update regarding the Global Partner Team program, which currently includes 10 teams.

While the program won’t expand to more than ten teams, KRAFTON has stated all organizations will undergo an evaluation process with new applicants potentially joining the Global Partner Team program next season. Current organizations included in the program are 17 Gaming, FaZe CLAN, Four Angry Men, Gen.G, NAVI, Petrichor Road, Soniqs, Twisted Minds, Cerberus Esports and Daytrade Gaming. The latter two were added at the start of 2024 as two new entries to the program.

Selected partner teams will be able to lock their seeding at the PUBG Global Series, guaranteeing them participation at the majority of the PUBG global events in 2025. Teams will be able to submit their application for the PUBG Global Partner Team Program 2025 starting from December 1st, 2024, with the selection process to be completed by February 2025.

PSG 5 and PSG 6 will take place in October and November, respectively, with each event featuring the 10 Global Partner Teams and 14 Regional Series Qualifiers from five regions: China, Korea, EMEA, APAC and the Americas. In December, the best teams in the world will compete in the PUBG Global Championship in Kuala Lumpur, featuring a prize pool of $1.5m.
